MADISON – “Naturopathic medicine” will be the subject when Whole Foods Market hosts its monthly “Lunch and Learn” series at 11:30 a.m. this Thursday, Jan. 16, at the market at 222 Main St. in Madison. The series is co-sponsored by Hollenbach Family Chiropractic of 250 Main St. in Madison.
Stacie Han, a naturopathic doctor and licensed acupuncturist, said she will explain naturopathic medicine “and how incorporating five lifestyle changes can improve your health dramatically.”
Han noted she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting and finance, and worked as an auditor before discovering her “true calling” as a naturopathic doctor and acupuncturist. She attended Bastyr University, an alternative medicine university in Seattle, Wash., where she received a doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a master’s degree in acupuncture and East Asian medicine.
Han completed a residency at the Holistic Health Clinic in Tacoma, Wash. Before relocating to New Jersey in July 2019, she had a busy private practice in Illinois for four years, and before that in Seattle for five years.
“Lunch and Learn” sessions are held monthly at Whole Foods, with a variety of health care practitioners offering informative talks on numerous topics.
